Church on the North Coast
Church on the North Coast (CNC) is a non-denominational church located in Lorain, Ohio where we connect with God and each other. Our desire is to help aid you in your spiritual journey. At Church on the North Coast it's all about movement. We are a congregation designed around a straight forward and strategic process that moves people through the stages of spiritual growth.

CNC Ministry Purpose:
"Celebrating God's Love and Celebrating One Another!"

CNC Ministry Process:
The process is simple. It is all about God's love! "L.O.V.E..... Love God and One another, Volunteer with a servant's heart and Evangelize the world about the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and the everlasting love of God His Father."

Think of a baseball diamond. First base is a person who has come to a place of loving God. To reach second base that person would simply engage in loving others. Third base is when you learn to volunteer your gifts and talents for the benefit of the community of faith. Finally, we cross home plate when you evangelize the world.

CNC Ministry Beliefs:

Jesus Christ
Matthew 1:22-23
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as Kings of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Bible
II Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible is God’s Word to all men. Because God inspires it, it is truth without any mixture of error.

Salvation
Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty.

Man
Genesis 1:27
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separated man from God.

Eternity
John 3:16
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

The Holy Spirit
Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4
The Holy Spirit baptism is a baptism of power evidenced by speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.

Divine Healing
Isaiah 53:4-5, I Peter 2:24
The atonement of Jesus Christ not only saves from sin but provides healing for the physical person as well.
