Beachwood Events
Church on the North Coast children’s ministry falls under the headship of Pastor Tina and Directed by April and Creed Peters, and Rebecca Thompson. In our Christian Education Department we maintain a consistent flow of ministry from one age group to the next. With a unique ability to teach the Word of God in a way each age group can understand it, thus preparing them for a life time of service to the Lord.

The Children's Ministry team offer a time of fun accompanied with praise and worship, object lessons and Bible lessons, and back it up with life application. All of this functions in conjunction with our regular services held here at CNC.

How to become a Part
Job opportunities and responsibilities
- All those interested in working, regardless of who they are and how long they have attended CNC must fill out a Ministry Application, and a background check must be on file for each person prior to becoming involved.
- Candidates must meet all the qualification for ministry in the ministry application packet.
- A personal interview with the Children’s Ministry Director.
- Applicants will be assigned to a service.
- Make sure all children feel welcome and important. Be friendly, talk with them before and after service, and use time to find out their interests. There are times when students will reveal problems at home, needs, or prayer request, be sure to share them with the CNC children’s Minister’s.
- Be Early and Faithful, you are expected to be at your assigned post thirty minutes before service begins.
- Get involved!! Actions speak louder than words. Be a part of the service, participate in worship, listening attentively to the message, and pray.
- Monitor the room at all times, Keep your eyes open. The minute you don’t something will happen. Stay with your post. The one ministering up front should never have to stop and correct the kids, while they are ministering.
- If you are going to be absent, please give a 3 day notice, if not possible, in the case of an emergency call ASAP to the Children’s Ministry Department. (440) 960-1100 Ext. #146
- Help clean up at the end of service.
