The CNC Music Department, as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, purpose to glorify God, to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, hope, and agape love... To lead others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.
The music ministry is the forefront and a vital part of the ministry and must operate in excellence at all times. It is not a ministry that can accept casual participation; it requires dedication and commitment. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.
Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements necessary to get involved are as follows:
- Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must be a member of CNC.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must complete a successful audition.
- Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the worship team.
- During your first year, you need to complete the “Salt and Light” handbook.
- Must follow platform protocol.
- Must be consistent and prompt in your attendance to scheduled meetings, rehearsals and services.
- Must be dedicated to worshipping the Lord.

How to become a Part
Job opportunities and responsibilities
- All those interested in working, regardless of who they are or how long they have attended CNC, must fill out a Ministry Application, and a background check must be on file for each person prior to becoming involved.
- Candidates must meet all the qualifications for ministry in the ministry application packet.
- A personal interview with the Children’s Ministry Director.
- Applicants will be assigned to a service.
- Make sure all children feel welcome and important. Be friendly, talk with them before and after service, and use time to find out their interests. There are times when students will reveal problems/needs through prayer request. Share them with the CNC children’s Ministers.
- Be Early and Faithful, you are expected to be at your assigned post thirty minutes before service begins.
- Get involved!! Actions speak louder than words. Be a part of the service, participate in worship, listening attentively to the message, and pray.
- Monitor the room at all time and stay at your post. The one ministering during service should never have to stop and correct the children.
- If you are going to be absent, please give a 3 day notice. In the event of an emergency call the Children’s Ministry Director. (440) 960-1100 Ext. #146
- Help clean up at the end of service.

In order to reach this generation Church on the North Coast has built a strong, multi tiered media ministry. It is only with your help that this ministry can thrive in bringing the word to life in a new and innovative way. It is through these technologically advanced mediums that our Pastor's hope to reach the far corners on the globe with the life changing news of Christ!
